The data we keep, the data we never touch.
iToolVerse runs in your browser as much as possible. The server only sees what it needs to count visits and proxy upstream APIs. We also use analytics and advertising tools — disclosed in full below. Nothing you share is sold.
What we keep
Anonymous page-view counts
When you visit a tool, a counter ticks up. The counter belongs to the slug, not to you. There is no row, cookie, or fingerprint linking views back to a person.
Tool-request form submissions
If you fill in Request a Tool, we keep what you submitted so we can evaluate and reply.
Your IP — briefly, for rate-limiting
Held in memory inside a short-lived rate-limit bucket. Never written to disk, expires within a minute.
What we track
Traffic and engagement (Google Analytics 4)
Sessions, bounce rate, referral source, engagement time. GA4 sets cookies for up to 2 years. Opt out.
Session recordings (Microsoft Clarity)
Mouse movement, clicks, and scroll depth — used to find UX problems. No audio, no keystrokes captured in sensitive fields. Respects browser Do Not Track.
Conversion events (Google Ads)
Fires when you arrive from an ad, to measure campaign effectiveness. Opt out.
No data sold
Your browsing on this site is never shared with data brokers or sold to anyone.
No accounts required
Every tool works without creating an account or providing an email address.
No browser fingerprinting
The What is my IP tool shows what sites can read — those values stay in your browser and are never stored.

Some tools fetch live data from third-party APIs. Each call is purpose-specific — listed below alongside the host that sees it. Each has its own privacy policy.

AI crawlers are welcome
Our content is open to GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and friends — declared in robots.txt. We want our tool explainers to be citable. None of your personal data is in those crawls — only the published content.
Children
iToolVerse isn't directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we'll delete it.
